The role involves checking, verifying, and recording company expenses with meticulous accuracy to ensure financial compliance. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for preparing budgets, processing expense reimbursement documentation, and following up on loan clearance processes across various brands and business units.
Beyond basic recording, the candidate will review, compile, and reconcile payment Excel sheets and supporting documents. This position is highly analytical, requiring the ability to identify discrepancies and irregularities in financial reports and vendor verification processes. The role offers a gross salary range of TZS 800,000 to 1,000,000. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Fluency in both English and Swahili with strong verbal skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
Strong numerical and analytical skills for data verification.
High degree of meticulousness and attention to detail.
Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling audits.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills for loan clearance.
Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt quickly.
Fresh graduates with a strong analytical mindset are encouraged.
