LEAD MEASUREMENT/INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN @ VISTA MC
Vista MC is seeking a dedicated Lead Measurement/Installation Technician to join our team in Nairobi. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire installation lifecycle for various shading systems, curtains, blinds, and outdoor furniture. Your leadership will ensure that every project is completed with precision, adhering to the highest quality and safety standards while meeting strict deadlines. As the lead technician, you will be the primary point of contact for site measurements, ensuring accuracy that directly impacts production and final delivery. Beyond technical tasks, you will mentor a team of installation technicians, coordinate logistics with showroom and production departments, and handle complex troubleshooting on-site. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in carpentry or electrical work and strong organizational skills to maintain a seamless operational flow.
Key Requirements
Diploma or vocational certification in Carpentry, Electrical, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in installation or a similar technical role.
Proven ability to conduct accurate site measurements for blinds and curtains.
Experience in supervising and guiding a team of technicians on-site.
Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve installation issues efficiently.
Membership in a relevant professional body is considered an added advantage.
Ability to coordinate effectively with production and showroom teams.
Commitment to maintaining safety standards and high-quality workmanship.
Proficiency in using and maintaining specialized tools and equipment.
Excellent communication skills for professional interaction with clients and team members.
