COMMUNICATION INTERN @ VISIONFUND TANZANIA
VisionFund Tanzania is seeking a creative and driven Communication Intern to join the communications and marketing team. This role is focused on supporting the creation of engaging visual and written content that enhances brand visibility and audience engagement across multiple digital and physical platforms. The intern will be integral to the team, assisting in the development of creative concepts for upcoming communication campaigns and ensuring brand consistency across all multimedia materials. Throughout the internship, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in real-world marketing and communication strategies. Responsibilities include creating campaign materials like posters and banners, editing short videos for social media, and managing digital platforms. This position offers a unique learning opportunity for those looking to build their professional portfolio in branding, digital marketing, and multimedia storytelling within the microfinance sector.
Key Requirements
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
Basic to intermediate video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
Demonstrated creativity and strong visual storytelling ability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive willingness to learn.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Communication, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
A portfolio of design or video work is highly preferred as an added advantage.
Ability to capture and edit high-quality photos and videos during organization events.
Basic knowledge of social media management including posting, scheduling, and engagement monitoring.
