COMMUNICATION INTERN @ VISIONFUND TANZANIA
VisionFund Tanzania is seeking a motivated and creative Communication Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the field of corporate communications within a reputable microfinance organization. The intern will assist in managing our social media presence, drafting internal and external content, and supporting various marketing initiatives to enhance the visibility of our impact on the community.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the communications department to tell the stories of our clients and projects. Responsibilities include preparing weekly social media schedules, assisting in the production of newsletters, and organizing events or community outreach programs. This internship is designed to foster professional growth, providing mentorship and exposure to diverse communication strategies in a professional environment.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or final year student in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Basic knowledge of graphic design software like Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
Ability to draft compelling content for press releases and internal newsletters.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Passion for social impact, microfinance, and community development.
High attention to detail and accuracy in all communication materials.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
