TRUCK DRIVER @ VIPAWA WORKS
Vipawa works is seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy-Duty Truck Driver to join their logistics team. This role is critical for the transportation of goods across various regions, specifically focusing on long-distance routes connecting Tanzania to neighboring countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of cargo, ensuring that all safety protocols and traffic regulations are strictly followed during transit.
Candidates will be required to navigate cross-border logistics, managing essential documentation for border clearances in countries such as DR Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, and Zambia. Key Requirements
Valid driving license for heavy-duty vehicles.
Minimum of 3 years' experience driving heavy trucks.
Proven experience traveling to DR Congo, Burundi, Rwanda or Zambia.
Must possess valid travel documents, including a passport.
Good understanding of border clearance and transportation documentation procedures.
Ability to read and write in English.
Knowledge of Swahili is an added advantage.
Honest, disciplined, and time-conscious.
Willingness to travel for long-distance assignments.
Ability to perform basic vehicle safety inspections and minor maintenance.
Excellent spatial awareness and ability to navigate difficult terrain.
Strong understanding of international traffic laws and safety regulations.
