QUANTITY SURVEYOR @ VIPAWA WORKS
The Quantity Surveyor position involves managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will be tasked with preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), performing cost analysis, and managing contracts to ensure projects remain within budget. This role is crucial for maintaining financial oversight on construction projects, especially those involving government agencies and local authorities.
In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with project managers and site engineers to monitor progress and handle valuations of completed work. You will use specialized software and AutoCAD to provide accurate estimates and cost control measures. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for identifying potential financial risks and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize project outcomes.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction projects.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost control, and contract management.
Experience working with government projects, local authorities, and TANROADS is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Quantity Surveying software.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
Professional registration with relevant regulatory bodies.
In-depth knowledge of local construction laws and regulations.
