LOCAL LIFTING ENGINEER @ VIPAWA WORKS
Vipawa Works is searching for a dedicated Local Lifting Engineer to join our project teams. This role demands a professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in lifting operations. The successful candidate will have a proven background in critical lifting, particularly within construction, mining, oil & gas, power plants, ports, or heavy industrial projects. Experience with mobile cranes up to heavy lifting capacities is highly preferred. Additionally, candidates must be registered with the relevant national engineering body and hold a valid LEE International Certificate (Foundation and/or relevant LEEA Diploma in lifting equipment, inspection, or related discipline). You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of all lifting activities, preparing detailed lifting plans, and conducting site assessments. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting operations.
Experience in construction, mining, oil & gas, power plants, ports, or heavy industrial projects.
Experience in critical lifting operations.
Experience with mobile cranes up to heavy lifting capacities is preferred.
Registered Engineer with the relevant national engineering registration body (where applicable).
Valid LEE International Certificate (Foundation and/or relevant LEEA Diploma in lifting equipment, inspection, or related discipline).
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in lifting operations.
Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop lifting plans.
Excellent problem-solving skills for complex and unusual lifting scenarios.
