CHINESE TRANSLATOR @ VIPAWA WORKS
Vipawa Works is currently hiring a Chinese Translator to bridge the communication gap within our international projects in Dar es Salaam. This role requires a high level of proficiency in both Chinese and English (or Swahili) to facilitate smooth communication between team members and stakeholders. The role is demanding and requires someone who can provide accurate translations for technical, business, and daily operational needs.
As a translator, you will be expected to work under pressure and adapt to a variety of situations, including site visits and high-level meetings. Key Requirements
Certificate or above in a relevant field such as Chinese Language or Linguistics.
2 years and above of professional work experience in translation or interpretation.
High level of flexibility and reliability to handle diverse tasks.
Strong ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English/Swahili.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all translated materials.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding company documents and discussions.
Proficiency in using translation tools and standard office software.
Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills.
Understanding of cultural nuances to provide contextually accurate translations.
