Vipawa works is recruiting for the position of Cashier to manage financial transactions at their various sites in Mtwara, Kigoma, and Dar es Salaam. The role involves processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent service to clients and vendors. Candidates should have a solid foundation in accounting principles and several years of practical experience in a similar capacity.
The successful applicant will ensure all daily transactions are recorded correctly and reconcile accounts at the end of each shift. This role requires high levels of integrity and attention to detail. You will be responsible for handling various forms of payment, issuing receipts, and assisting the finance team with daily reporting tasks.

Key Requirements
Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or related field.
At least 3 year of experience as Cashier or in a finance role.
Proficiency in handling cash and electronic transactions.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with POS systems and accounting software.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Integrity and honesty in handling company funds.
Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
