Vipawa works is looking to hire an experienced Advocate to join our professional team in Dar es Salaam. This position involves managing complex legal matters, influencing policy changes, and providing robust representation. You will be expected to work closely with our legal team to ensure our advocacy efforts remain impactful and legally sound.
Your day-to-day duties will include preparing all necessary documentation for filing cases, managing comprehensive trial briefs, and conducting depositions for witnesses and experts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legislative processes and the ability to effectively engage with various government entities to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Requirements
5+ years of experience in advocacy, public policy, or related fields
Proven track record of success in influencing policy changes
Knowledge of Mining and Taxation is an added advantage
Strong understanding of legislative processes
Experience working with government entities at various levels
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prepare detailed court documents and briefs
Experience in scheduling and conducting depositions
Ability to work effectively in a team-based trial environment
High level of professional integrity and legal acumen
