GROUP PROCUREMENT OFFICER @ VIGOR-TURKYS GROUP OF COMPANIES
The Group Procurement Officer at Vigor-Turkys Group of Companies will be responsible for the strategic coordination of procurement activities across multiple business units. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency by ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality goods and services. The officer will manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from supplier sourcing and negotiation to contract administration and inventory control.
Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, evaluating supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with all company procurement policies. You will work closely with finance and logistics teams to track deliveries, maintain accurate procurement records, and identify cost-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP systems and a deep understanding of importation procedures and logistics coordination to support the group's diverse operational needs.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing operations.
Professional certification such as CPSP or CIPS is considered a significant advantage.
Experience handling group or multi-unit procurement within a large organizational structure.
Strong knowledge of supplier sourcing, negotiation, tendering, and contract management.
Proficiency in using ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, or other procurement management software.
Solid understanding of importation procedures, logistics coordination, and inventory control.
Ability to prepare and process purchase requisitions, orders, and documentation accurately.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
High integrity with the ability to work under pressure and meet organizational deadlines.
