IT SUPPORT OFFICER (NYSC / GRADUATE INTERN) @ VIATHAN ENGINEERING LIMITED
Viathan Engineering Limited is seeking a motivated IT Support Officer to join our dynamic team as an NYSC Intern or Graduate Intern. This role is specifically designed for proactive individuals who are currently serving their NYSC year in Lagos or recent graduates with up to two years of experience looking to jumpstart their careers in the IT industry. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our day-to-day technology operations and ensuring our staff has the technical support they need to succeed. In this position, your responsibilities will range from providing first-line support and troubleshooting hardware and software issues to assisting with the onboarding and offboarding of employees. You will also be responsible for managing IT assets, tracking technical issues, and collaborating closely with our external IT service providers. Key Requirements
Current NYSC Corps Member serving in Lagos or a recent graduate with 1–2 years of experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
Ability to provide first-line IT support to staff across the organization efficiently.
Proficiency in troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.
Experience or capability in supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Strong skills in IT asset management and systematic issue tracking.
Ability to work effectively with outsourced IT service providers and external vendors.
Proactive, tech-savvy, and highly organized approach to task management.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to a professional engineering environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal team collaboration.
