A reputable company specializing in cross-border cargo transportation and manufacturing is seeking a highly competent Human Resources Manager to lead its operations and compliance functions. With a workforce exceeding 600 employees, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire HR department, supervising factory and transport personnel, and ensuring seamless communication between drivers, the operations department, and management. The role involves monitoring operational risks, ensuring compliance with route instructions, and maintaining the highest standards of company procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The Human Resources Manager will also be tasked with managing recruitment, onboarding, and comprehensive employee documentation. Key focus areas include the implementation of HR policies, adherence to Tanzanian labor laws, and managing industrial relations. The manager will advise senior leadership on HR matters, oversee performance evaluation systems, and ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies such as OSHA, WCF, and NSSF. Key Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR Management position. Proven experience in transport, logistics, manufacturing, or FMCG companies. Strong understanding of Tanzanian Labor Laws and HR compliance requirements. Ability to manage a large workforce (600+ employees) in a high-pressure environment. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems. Knowledge of OSHA, Labor Laws, WCF, NSSF, and other government regulatory requirements. Experience in managing KPI systems, employee evaluations, and staff development programs. Demonstrated ability to handle industrial relations matters and disciplinary hearings.
