PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNICIAN @ VERTEX GROUP OF EXPERTS
VERTEX GROUP OF EXPERTS, a distinguished provider of medical services throughout Tanzania Mainland & Zanzibar, is seeking dedicated Pharmaceutical Technicians. With a network of facilities including pharmacies in Dar es Salaam and clinics across Zanzibar, Morogoro, and Makambako, the Vertex Group is dedicated to ensuring access to quality pharmaceutical care. This role is vital for supporting our patient services by accurately dispensing medication and managing pharmaceutical supplies. There are 2 positions available for Pharmaceutical Technicians. Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists, managing drug stock, preparing medications, and providing patient counseling on proper drug usage. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction in our diverse Tanzanian locations.
Key Requirements
Minimum qualification relevant to the position (e.g., Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences)
Active practicing license issued by the relevant regulatory body (e.g., Pharmacy Council)
Minimum working experience of one (1) year in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
Knowledge of pharmaceutical dispensing, inventory management, and drug storage
Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical or pharmacy environment
Accuracy in compounding and dispensing medications
Understanding of drug interactions and side effects
Customer service skills for patient consultation
Adherence to pharmaceutical regulations and ethical guidelines
