VAN MO SAFARIS invites applications for the position of Operations Manager based in Arusha. This senior role is pivotal in orchestrating the day-to-day safari operations and ensuring the highest standards of service for our international clientele. The Operations Manager will lead a diverse team, overseeing itinerary execution, staff deployment, and resource allocation across various wildlife circuits.
The ideal candidate will bring over seven years of industry experience, with a specific focus on wildlife tourism and remote site management. You will be responsible for streamlining operational processes, enhancing efficiency, and maintaining strong relationships with park authorities and service providers. Leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the safari industry are paramount.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management or Wildlife Conservation
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in safari operations and wildlife tourism
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role
Exceptional leadership and team management skills
Advanced operational planning and coordination abilities
Proven ability to manage teams in remote and challenging environments
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian tourism circuits and routes
High level of interpersonal and communication skills
