The Business Development Manager role at Vaijayanthy Quality Exaal is a strategic position focused on expanding the company’s footprint in the commodity trading sector, specifically within the coal, manganese, and iron ore markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying high-potential business opportunities, establishing robust networks with suppliers and traders, and driving significant revenue growth through proactive market engagement. Duties include managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from initial inquiry through to deal closure and payment collection. This involves negotiating complex commercial terms, monitoring global market trends to stay ahead of competitors, and collaborating closely with logistics teams to ensure the seamless execution of orders. This full-time position requires a result-oriented professional with a strong background in mineral trading and the ability to maintain detailed MIS reports for the sales pipeline.
Key Requirements
Any Graduate or MBA degree preferred.
Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience in commodity or mineral trading.
Extensive knowledge of coal, manganese, and iron ore trading markets.
Proven ability to negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
Strong communication skills for building long-term business relationships.
Proficiency in MS Excel and maintaining sales pipeline data.
Ability to manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to closure.
Experience in coordinating with logistics for smooth order execution.
Skill in monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
