We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead product strategy and delivery for high-impact projects at Vagmine Tech IT Solutions. Based in Johannesburg on a 12-month contract, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. You will be instrumental in defining the vision for software products that drive real business value.
This hybrid role requires candidates to be based in South Africa. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and analysts. Key Requirements
Must currently reside in South Africa.
Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development environment.
Strong ability to define product vision, roadmap, and growth strategies.
Expertise in backlog prioritization and writing clear user stories.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working closely with software engineering teams.
Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
Demonstrated success in delivering digital products from conception to launch.
