TRACKING OFFICER @ USANGU LOGISTICS (T) LTD
Usangu Logistics (T) Ltd is seeking a dedicated Tracking Officer to join our logistics team in Dar es Salaam. This role focuses on the real-time monitoring of transit fleets to ensure efficient cargo movement and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing fleet positions, identifying delays, and maintaining constant communication with drivers and management to optimize transit operations.
Candidates must be Tanzanian nationals with a Bachelor's degree and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience specifically in transit fleet environments. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP B1 is mandatory for data entry and reporting. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic transport environment, requiring high attention to detail and the ability to solve problems proactively during vehicle transit.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in transit fleet tracking operations.
Must be a Tanzanian national.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Practical experience using SAP B1 (Business One) software.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with transit drivers.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data monitoring.
Ability to analyze transit routes and identify potential delays.
Strong problem-solving skills to manage en-route emergencies.
Capacity to generate detailed tracking and status reports.
