HSE OFFICER @ USANGU LOGISTICS (T) LTD
We are looking for a professional HSE Officer to manage and improve health, safety, and environmental standards at Usangu Logistics (T) Ltd. Located in Dar es Salaam, the role involves implementing safety protocols within our transport and logistics operations to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for conducting regular safety audits and providing training to the workforce.
The successful applicant should have 2 to 4 years of experience in HSE, specifically within the transport industry. Being a Tanzanian national with a Bachelor’s degree is a requirement for this role. You will utilize SAP B1 and MS Office tools to manage safety documentation and track incident reports, contributing to a culture of safety excellence throughout the organization.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or an equivalent field.
2-4 years of experience in HSE roles within the Transport and Logistics sector.
Must be a Tanzanian national.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications for safety reporting.
Familiarity with SAP B1 for document management.
In-depth knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations.
Proven ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses.
Experience in conducting safety training sessions for staff and drivers.
Strong analytical skills for investigating workplace incidents.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to promote a safety culture.
