Urban Cube is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Accountant to join our team in Kijitonyama, Dar es Salaam. This pivotal role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the financial health of the company. We are searching for an individual with strong analytical abilities and a thorough understanding of financial operations.
The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing general ledger accounts, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The successful candidate will also handle payroll processing, tax preparations, and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. Key Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Age between 20-30 years
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (IFRS/GAAP)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally)
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports
Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance
Strong organizational and time management skills
