Upstairs Engineering Limited is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components critical to various construction projects. Your duties will include preparing detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and thorough documentation, as well as performing essential load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Furthermore, you will play a crucial part in ensuring strict compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires active coordination with various stakeholders and diligent oversight of project execution to maintain high quality standards. You will also monitor project progress, identify areas for improvement, prepare technical reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience in mechanical engineering within construction.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration.
Ability to work independently on complex tasks and manage project timelines effectively.
Thorough understanding of relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices.
Strong attention to detail in design and documentation.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with project coordination and stakeholder management.
