FACADE ENGINEER @ UP MAN
Up man is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join their dynamic team in Tanzania for a full-time, on-site role. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for managing the entire facade lifecycle, ranging from initial shop drawings and material procurement to complex logistics tracking and final on-site installation. You will serve as a central figure coordinating across design teams, vendors, and site execution crews to ensure project success.
The role requires a deep understanding of architectural and structural requirements, as you will develop detailed shop drawings using tools like Revit, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD. Beyond design, you will manage material take-offs, liaise with vendors to evaluate pricing, and oversee the quality control of installations. Key Requirements
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar facade design software.
Strong vendor coordination and site management skills.
Fluent communication skills in Hindi and English.
Experience in developing detailed shop drawings and material take-offs.
Ability to manage procurement processes and evaluate vendor pricing.
Proven track record in tracking production, shipping, and on-site delivery.
Expertise in overseeing on-site installation and quality control.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills during construction phases.
Knowledge of international shipping and logistics for construction materials.
