INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN @ UNIVIO CONSULTANTS
We are currently hiring for the position of Instrument Technician to support a major refinery project in Nigeria. The role is focused on the calibration, installation, and maintenance of various instrumentation and control systems essential for refinery operations. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring that all monitoring and control devices are functioning accurately to maintain the safety and efficiency of the plant's processes. This role requires high precision and a deep understanding of electronic and pneumatic control systems.
The package includes a fixed salary of INR 65,000 per month, supplemented by Food, Accommodation, and Transportation (FAT). Candidates will also benefit from a company-provided visa and airfare. This is a 1-year full-time employment contract with the potential for renewal, offering an excellent opportunity for international experience in the petrochemical industry.

Key Requirements
Technical diploma or certification in Instrumentation and Control or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in the maintenance and calibration of refinery instruments.
Proficiency in using testing equipment such as multimeters and signal generators.
Solid understanding of P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and loop diagrams.
Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls.
Familiarity with control valves, transmitters, and various sensors.
Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in hazardous environments.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for precise measurements.
Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team in a remote location.
