HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER @ UMODZI MICROFINANCE LIMITED
UMODZI MICROFINANCE LIMITED is looking for a qualified Human Resource Officer to manage HR operations at our Head Office. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, as well as assisting with recruitment and selection processes. You will work closely with field and Head Office teams to facilitate training, talent development, and performance management initiatives, ensuring that the organization’s human capital is effectively managed and motivated.
Additionally, the Human Resource Officer will oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations while maintaining accurate HR records and reports. A significant part of the role involves monitoring compliance with labor laws and employment regulations to mitigate risks. You will also be expected to prepare detailed HR statistical reports, surveys, and summaries to support management decision-making. This role requires a high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information professionally in a fast-paced microfinance environment.

Key Requirements
Degree in Human Resources or Business-related field.
Minimum 2 years’ HR experience, preferably in microfinance.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
Experience in recruitment, training, and performance management.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High integrity and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll software.
Ability to prepare HR statistical reports and analytical summaries.
Experience in benefits administration and employee relations.
Strong organizational skills for maintaining digital and physical HR records.
