LEGAL MANAGER @ UBUNTU IMPACT
Ubuntu Impact is hiring a Legal Manager to oversee the legal and compliance functions within our Microfinance Banking division. You will ensure that all institutional activities adhere to local laws and regulations, while providing counsel on complex legal matters to the executive leadership team.
The role requires a meticulous approach to drafting and reviewing contracts, managing litigation risks, and providing legal support for new business initiatives. You will work closely with other departments to ensure our practices remain ethical and compliant with the evolving landscape of microfinance regulations in Tanzania.

Key Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of legal practice experience.
Deep knowledge of Tanzanian corporate and banking law.
Proven experience in regulatory compliance.
Ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Professional certification or membership with the relevant Law Society.
Capability to handle litigation and external legal counsel.
Strong ethics and integrity in professional conduct.
