We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join a leading client’s team for prestigious infrastructure and construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring all activities strictly align with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project timelines. This role requires a professional who can provide strong site leadership and effectively coordinate with local authorities such as the Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and ADDC, as well as various consultants and subcontractors to facilitate seamless project execution.

In addition to operational oversight, the Civil Engineer must uphold the highest standards of quality and safety by ensuring strict adherence to UAE HSE and Quality Control regulations. Key technical responsibilities include the detailed review of shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. The role also involves meticulous project documentation, including the management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), the preparation of daily progress reports, and the continuous update of project milestones. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated engineer to contribute to significant urban development within the UAE.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Civil Engineer specifically within the UAE/Abu Dhabi market. Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawing reviews and site layout planning. In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) and ADDC regulations and procedures. Demonstrated experience in site leadership and the management of daily construction operations. Proven ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and local authorities. Strong understanding of UAE Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. Experience in managing project documentation, including NCRs and daily progress reports. Competency in reviewing material submittals and method statements for technical compliance. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for professional reporting and team leadership.
