Twyfordtile is seeking two Showroom/Construction Specialists to join their manufacturing team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and monitoring showroom construction projects, ensuring that all activities operate smoothly and meet quality standards. This role involves tracking project metrics such as timelines and budgets, generating performance reports, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency. Additionally, the specialists will lead the marketing construction team and manage subcontractors on-site. Key responsibilities include risk control regarding materials and cost management, as well as developing monthly project plans and resource allocations. Candidates should be adaptable and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional communication with clients and senior management. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Interior design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in showroom or retail construction in a supervisory role.
Previous experience and strong understanding of construction project design and management.
Analytical mindset for budget interpretation and progress tracking.
Adaptable and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, sales-marketing teams, and senior management.
Proven track record in managing construction teams and subcontractors on-site.
Ability to generate weekly and monthly reports on project performance.
Knowledge of risk control on materials and costs management.
Skill in monthly project plan development and effective resource allocation.
