ACCOUNTANT @ TURKISH MAARIF FOUNDATION
The Turkish Maarif Foundation is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Arusha. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You will ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with local tax regulations while providing valuable financial insights to the management team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the foundation's administrative success. Key duties include preparing financial statements, reconciling bank statements, and managing payroll processes. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly preferred.
Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and local tax procedures.
Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage and process payroll and prepare monthly financial statements.
Experience with tax preparation and ensuring organizational compliance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
