MAINTENANCE MANAGER @ TURACO NUNGWI RESORT
Turaco Nungwi Resort, part of the Tribute Portfolio by Marriott Bonvoy, is currently seeking a professional Maintenance Manager to join their dynamic team in Tanzania, Nungwi. This position requires a candidate with at least five years of experience in the hospitality sector, specifically focusing on the maintenance of complex resort systems. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure, with a specific emphasis on cooling systems to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, you will have the opportunity to grow your career within a world-class hospitality brand. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to implement brand standards and deliver high-quality maintenance services. Your responsibilities will include inventory management, staff training, and the development of innovative, cost-saving strategies for the resort's operations. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, computer literate, and possess excellent communication skills in English. Swahili proficiency is considered a significant plus. Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience within the hospitality industry.
Specialization in cooling systems and HVAC maintenance.
Strong knowledge of mechanics, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Solid leadership skills to manage and inspire the maintenance team.
Ability to deliver innovative and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with previous records of conducting staff training.
Ability to comply with and implement brand standards within resort operations.
Highly organized with a high level of attention to technical details.
Computer literate and able to navigate through hotel management systems.
