HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER @ TUMUKUC
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes for our retail store located in Kampala. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading recruitment efforts, managing employee relations, and ensuring that all performance management systems are effectively implemented to support the company's strategic goals. You will act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive work environment.
In addition to operational tasks, the HR Manager will ensure full compliance with local labor laws and regulations. You will be tasked with developing and implementing HR policies that align with the retail industry's fast-paced nature while maintaining high standards of employee engagement and retention. This role is based in Kampala and requires a strategic thinker who can balance administrative duties with long-term human capital planning to drive the success of our retail operations.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven work experience as an HR Manager, HR Consultant, or similar leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of Uganda labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment and talent sourcing strategies.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
Experience in developing and monitoring HR strategies and systems.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a diverse team.
Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous experience working within the retail industry is highly desirable.
