ACCOUNTANT @ TRULY ACCOUNTANTS (TA)
Truly Accountants is currently seeking a highly qualified, detail-oriented, and motivated Accountant to join our fast-growing finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining our financial integrity, supporting our operational growth, and ensuring that all fiscal documentation meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing detailed statutory and management reports, and assisting the management team with complex budgeting and long-term financial planning. You will also be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to accounting policies and regulatory standards, participating in internal and external audit processes, and streamlining our internal payment and receipt cycles. The position is based at our office at Ushiriko Tower, Lukuriba Street, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting work experience.
Proficiency in accounting software, with QuickBooks preferred.
Knowledge of IDRAS will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Familiarity with local statutory tax reporting requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial spreadsheets.
