ACCOUNTANT @ TRAVKINGS TOURS & TRAVELS
Join the Travkings Tours & Travels team as an Accountant in Tanzania. We are looking for an experienced financial professional to handle our accounting functions as we expand our services in the region. You will be responsible for the full cycle of accounting tasks, from data entry to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who wants to grow with an international company and contribute to the success of a leading travel and tours operator. Your responsibilities will include managing bank transactions, processing VAT and other statutory returns, and coordinating with external auditors. You will also provide financial insights that help the management team make informed decisions regarding the Tanzanian market. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with NBAA (National Board of Accountants and Auditors) Tanzania.
Comprehensive knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and VAT regulations.
At least 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to prepare accurate financial reports on a timely basis.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Integrity and a high degree of professional ethics.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
