Travkings Tours & Travels is looking for a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our expanding operations in Kenya. As our company continues to grow across the African continent, we require a financial professional who can manage complex accounting tasks and ensure the financial health of our regional office. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with all local statutory requirements. In this position, you will oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. You will also play a key role in budget preparation and financial forecasting to help drive the company's strategic growth. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification such as CPA (K) or ACCA.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an Accountant.
In-depth knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and iTax filing procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
