The Digital Marketing Officer at Transsion will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's online presence within the competitive mobile industry in Tanzania. This role involves the strategic planning and execution of comprehensive digital marketing campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, foster customer engagement, and drive product demand. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's social media channels, creating compelling digital content, and ensuring a consistent brand voice across all digital touchpoints.
In addition to content management, the Digital Marketing Officer will oversee digital advertising efforts, including Google Ads and social media advertising, to optimize reach and return on investment. The role requires a data-driven approach, utilizing tools like Google Analytics to track campaign performance and generate insightful reports for stakeholders. By collaborating with internal departments and external partners, the officer will support broader marketing initiatives and ensure that the company stays at the forefront of digital trends and SEO best practices.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in digital marketing.
Proficiency in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Experience in planning and executing digital advertising campaigns (Social Media Ads, Google Ads).
Strong understanding of SEO and SEM principles to drive web traffic.
Ability to use Google Analytics and other performance tracking tools.
Excellent content creation skills for digital platforms.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and create performance reports.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
