Join a leading Vehicle Tracking and Fleet Management company headquartered in Nairobi as a Renewals and Collections Officer. This role is pivotal in managing our growing subscription renewal portfolio across Kenya, ensuring clients receive uninterrupted service through proactive engagement and professional follow-ups. The company has a strong market presence spanning over 10 years and operates 10 branches across Kenya, with additional regional operations in Uganda and Tanzania. You will be responsible for contacting clients regarding upcoming tracking service renewals, following up on unpaid invoices via multiple channels, and maintaining precise records of all communications. Working closely with the Finance team, you will reconcile accounts and help drive the company's financial stability while providing top-tier customer support. Your daily activities will include updating follow-up systems, escalating long-outstanding accounts, and preparing performance reports to ensure targets are met.
Key Requirements
Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
At least 2 years’ experience in customer follow-up, renewals, credit control, or call center operations
Experience in subscription-based services is an added advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Good negotiation and follow-through skills
High attention to detail
Organized and target-driven
Ability to handle objections professionally
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and updating daily follow-ups in tracking systems
