Tradewinds Logistics Limited is seeking a high-caliber Head of Department - Finance to be based at the JKIA Cargo office in Nairobi. This pivotal role involves leading the finance function, shaping financial strategy, and driving process discipline within a critical logistics hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and championing continuous improvement initiatives to support the company's growth. The salary budget for this position is KES 150,000 gross. The role demands a professional with a background in logistics or fast-paced operational environments. Key responsibilities include financial planning, reporting, and managing the finance team at the Mitchell Cotts Freight Terminal. Key Requirements
Must be a fully qualified CPA-K (Certified Public Accountant - Kenya).
Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in a finance leadership role within the logistics or freight industry.
Strong background in fast-paced operational environments.
Expert knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards in Kenya.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies.
Experience in process discipline and driving continuous improvement.
Proficiency in using advanced accounting software and ERP systems.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
