DRAUGHTSMAN @ TPC LTD
TPC Ltd is a prominent sugar-producing company located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive Draughtsman to join our Factory department. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex engineering designs and specifications into precise, high-quality technical drawings that meet all project and safety standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our engineering documentation remains accurate and up-to-date, supporting the operational integrity of our facility.
In this position, you will work closely with the Planned Maintenance and Drawing Office Supervisor to create and revise 2D and 3D drawings. You will be expected to conduct field measurements, verify site data, and maintain meticulous records of all drafting revisions. Key Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in drafting or a similar technical role.
Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Experience in conducting field measurements and collecting site data for as-built documentation.
Solid understanding of mechanical equipment and industrial operational processes.
Familiarity with industry standards, safety codes, and technical regulations.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in technical visualization.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and meet project deadlines.
