We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to handle all aspects of camp maintenance and furniture production. Your work will involve building, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures, furniture, and fittings to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of our camp. You should be capable of reading technical drawings and working with various types of timber to deliver high-quality woodwork.
The ideal candidate is a craftsman who takes pride in their work and possesses a solid understanding of structural integrity. You will play an important role in our maintenance team by ensuring that all wooden assets are in excellent condition for our guests, reflecting the rustic yet luxurious theme of Tortilis Camps.

Key Requirements
Practical carpentry experience is required.
VETA certificate in carpentry is an added advantage.
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical designs.
Proficiency with both manual and power woodworking tools.
Strong understanding of timber types and preservation.
Attention to detail in fine woodwork and repair.
Ability to work safely with hazardous materials.
Good time management for project deadlines.
Willingness to perform on-site repairs at remote camps.
Team player with good communication skills.
