SAFARI RESERVATION @ TOPGUIDES AFRICA
Topguides Africa is looking for a skilled Safari Reservation specialist to join their team in Arusha. The primary role involves communicating with international clients to understand their travel needs and designing bespoke, tailor-made safari itineraries that provide exceptional experiences. You will be responsible for managing the entire enquiry process, from the initial contact to the final confirmation, ensuring that every detail meets the high service standards of the company.
In addition to itinerary design, the role requires overseeing logistics such as airport transfers, third-party accommodations, and flights. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify new market opportunities and assist in developing competitive safari rates. The position demands a high level of coordination with the Safaris Manager to resolve any inconsistencies during the quoting phase and to ensure that clients receive seamless support throughout their journey in East Africa.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or Sales and Marketing Management.
Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken Russian language.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in safari business designing itineraries and programs.
Advanced computer literacy with focus on hospitality data systems and Microsoft Office.
Must be a Tanzanian Citizen or currently residing in Tanzania.
Excellent knowledge of Kenya and Tanzania safari destinations.
Strong ability to manage high workloads and maintain strict service standards.
Proven experience in checking availability, booking, quoting, and invoicing.
Ability to conduct market research to evaluate customer and agent needs.
