Topguides Africa Ltd is expanding its Destination Management Company (DMC) operations team across East Africa and is seeking a mid-level DMC Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in coordinating logistics, managing complex travel itineraries, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality safari and travel experiences for our clients. The successful candidate will work closely with our commercial team to maintain the high standards of service our guests expect.
The position is based in Arusha, Tanzania, and requires a professional with a deep understanding of the travel industry in the region. You will be responsible for overseeing bookings, supplier relations, and operational workflows to ensure seamless travel experiences throughout Tanzania and Kenya, with potential involvement in Uganda, Rwanda, and Zanzibar operations. Key Requirements
Proven experience in DMC or safari operations
Strong operational knowledge of Tanzania and Kenya
Excellent itinerary execution, supplier coordination, and logistics management skills
Ability to manage multiple bookings while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Experience with East African cross-border operations
Tanzanian national status
Proficiency in travel management software and office tools
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
