Top Talented Recruits is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tracking Officer to join a leading logistics operation in Dar es Salaam. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor the real-time movement of vehicles and cargo, ensuring all shipments are on schedule and following designated routes. You will act as a central point of contact between drivers, warehouse teams, and management, providing critical updates and identifying potential delays or security risks.
In addition to real-time monitoring, the Tracking Officer will be expected to generate detailed reports on fleet performance, fuel consumption, and driver behavior using advanced GPS software and ERP systems. Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
3+ years of professional experience in logistics, fleet management, or tracking operations.
Proficiency in GPS tracking software and real-time monitoring tools.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems or logistics management software.
Strong analytical skills to interpret tracking data and identify trends.
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective team and driver coordination.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for reporting and data analysis.
