Top Talented Recruits is hiring a Land Surveyor to work within the mining sector in Songwe. This role requires technical expertise in geographical mapping and site surveying to support our mining operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for precise site measurements, ensuring the accuracy of mine-site layouts, and utilizing high-end surveying software and hardware. You will collaborate with engineering and geology teams to ensure that all ground operations are performed safely and accurately.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geographical Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of proven experience in land/geographical surveying.
Mining industry experience, particularly in mine-site surveying, is highly preferred.
Proficient in surveying techniques, GPS/GNSS, Total Station, and survey software.
Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills with high attention to accuracy.
Ability to work in rugged environments and outdoor field conditions.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar civil engineering software.
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to environmental standards.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with project stakeholders.
Experience with volume calculations and topographical modeling.
