Top Crop Tanzania Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our team in Rufiji. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of our irrigation and technical warehouse, ensuring that all materials such as pipes, valves, fittings, and pumps are accurately accounted for and properly stored. This role involves overseeing daily inventory records, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring all warehouse documentation is up to date to support our agricultural operations. As a Storekeeper, you will play a critical role in the logistics chain, coordinating with various departments to facilitate the timely movement of materials. You must possess high levels of accountability and organizational skills to thrive in this environment. The position is full-time and requires a candidate with a technical background in logistics or a related field, specifically with experience in handling irrigation systems and components like PVC and HDPE systems.
Key Requirements
Technical certificate or diploma in logistics, warehousing, or irrigation-related materials
Experience managing an irrigation or technical warehouse
Knowledge of irrigation materials such as pipes, valves, fittings, pumps, PVC, and HDPE systems
Proven ability to manage inventory records, stock levels, and warehouse documentation
Strong organization skills with high attention to detail and accountability
Proficiency in using warehouse management software or spreadsheet applications for tracking
Ability to conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies regularly
Strong communication skills to interact with procurement and field teams
Knowledge of safety and health regulations for warehouse environments
Ability to organize the layout of the warehouse for efficient space utilization
