The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fuel inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and overseeing the issuance of fuel according to company procedures. This role is vital for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring that all fuel usage is accounted for through meticulous tracking and reporting using Microsoft Excel. As a Fuel Clerk, you will work closely with the logistics and stores departments to monitor fuel levels, prevent discrepancies, and uphold high standards of accountability. The position requires a candidate with strong numerical skills and a background in stores management or accounting. You will be expected to follow authorization protocols strictly and contribute to the overall integrity of the supply chain management process at our Rufiji site.
Key Requirements
Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Stores Management, Logistics, or a related field
At least two years of experience in stores or inventory control
Strong numerical accuracy and clear record keeping
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for daily tracking and reporting
Ability to follow strict authorization procedures before fuel issuance
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability
Experience in managing fuel dispensers and monitoring fuel levels
Ability to prepare daily and weekly fuel consumption reports
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to fuel handling
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with drivers and site managers
