CAMP MANAGER @ TOP CROP TANZANIA LIMITED
Top Crop Tanzania Limited is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Camp Manager to oversee its operations in Rufiji. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the camp facility, ensuring that all aspects of accommodation, catering, and utility services are maintained to the highest standards. This role is pivotal in creating a safe and comfortable living environment for all camp residents and international visitors. The Camp Manager will also play a critical role in enforcing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and managing complex logistics. You will coordinate with various departments and service providers to ensure seamless transportation and supply chain management. This position requires a proactive individual capable of problem-solving in a multicultural environment and maintaining excellent service standards. The work location for this position is specifically in Rufiji, Tanzania, where the manager will handle all site-specific operational needs.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Logistics, or Administration.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in managing large-scale camp or site operations.
Proven ability to oversee daily camp operations, including catering and utilities.
Strong knowledge and experience in enforcing HSE standards and conducting inspections.
Expertise in logistics and transportation management for camp residents.
Excellent communication skills for acting as a primary point of contact for international guests.
Ability to resolve issues promptly and provide solutions in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in coordinating with drivers and external service providers.
Strong organizational skills to maintain supplies and general services without disruption.
Experience in reporting and administrative tasks related to camp management.
