PLANT OPERATOR (5 POSITIONS) @ TOL GASES PLC
TOL Gases PLC is seeking 5 Plant Operators to safely and efficiently operate its production plants located in Dar es Salaam and Mbeya. The role involves monitoring plant parameters, conducting quality checks, performing first-line troubleshooting and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with strict safety and hygiene standards.
Successful candidates will be responsible for optimizing plant performance to minimize operational costs while maintaining high quality standards. You will work closely with other departments to ensure operational activities are coordinated and that all procedures align with ISO 22000, GMP, and OSHA standards. Key Requirements
Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Chemical and Processing Engineering.
Minimum 1 year of practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Membership with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) is an added advantage.
Ability to monitor and record plant operating parameters accurately.
Strong understanding of ISO 22000, GMP, and OSHA safety standards.
Demonstrated ability to perform first-line troubleshooting and maintenance.
Proficiency in coordinating operational activities with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in either Dar es Salaam or Mbeya as required.
Strong commitment to workplace hygiene and safety protocols.
Excellent reporting skills for operational deviations and issues.
