L2 ORACLE KVM VIRTUALIZATION ENGINEER @ TISLABS
We are seeking a highly skilled L2 Oracle KVM Virtualization Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role is designed for a professional with extensive hands-on experience in managing Oracle Linux KVM within complex enterprise production environments. You will be responsible for the entire VM lifecycle, including deployment, live migration, and decommissioning, while ensuring the stability and performance of our virtualization stack. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hypervisor management and storage integration within a cloud-based infrastructure.
The successful candidate will work within a 24x7 Managed Services Cloud environment, focusing on High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) configurations. Key responsibilities include integrating various storage solutions like iSCSI and SAN, managing virtual networking components such as VLANs and bridges, and conducting performance tuning and routine patching. You will also be expected to handle incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) following ITIL best practices to maintain service level agreements and operational excellence.

Key Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Linux KVM within enterprise production environments.
Proficiency in libvirt for VM lifecycle management and live migration.
Experience in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environment support.
In-depth knowledge of storage integration including iSCSI, NFS, SAN, and FC.
Expertise in virtual networking configurations such as VLAN, bonding, and bridges.
Advanced proficiency in Linux operating systems, specifically Oracle Linux or RHEL.
Proven ability in performance tuning, patching, and incident management (RCA).
Basic scripting skills in Shell or Python for automation tasks.
Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and change management processes.
A minimum of 8 to 12 years of professional experience in virtualization and infrastructure.
Ability to work effectively in a 24x7 Managed Services Cloud environment.
