SHIFT SUPERVISOR (2 POSITIONS) @ TIPER BULK STORAGE
We are looking for dedicated Shift Supervisors to oversee our terminal operations during assigned shifts. The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that all loading, unloading, and maintenance activities are carried out safely and on schedule. You will be the primary point of contact for the operational team during your shift, addressing any technical or personnel issues as they arise to prevent downtime and maintain productivity.
In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all team members adhere to company policies. You will also prepare detailed shift reports, documenting any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or operational successes. This position requires a proactive individual who can make quick decisions in a fast-paced industrial environment while maintaining a focus on quality control and environmental protection.

Key Requirements
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a relevant technical discipline.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial or logistics environment.
Strong understanding of terminal operational procedures and safety standards.
Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in using operational software and basic office applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety is highly desirable.
Experience in managing small to medium-sized technical teams.
Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations and conduct safety drills.
