ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN (1 POSITION) @ TIPER BULK STORAGE
The Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and instrumentation within the TIPER bulk storage facility. This role is vital for ensuring that our automated systems, sensors, and power distribution networks are functioning correctly to support safe and continuous operations. You will perform routine inspections, calibrate sensitive equipment, and troubleshoot complex electrical issues as they arise.
You will work closely with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PLC systems, SCADA, and various measurement instruments used in the oil and gas or bulk storage industry. Your expertise will contribute to reducing system downtime and enhancing the overall reliability of the facility’s infrastructure.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Trade Certification in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Instrumentation.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
Deep knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA system troubleshooting.
Experience with the calibration of pressure, temperature, and flow meters.
Strong commitment to electrical safety standards and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary maintenance team.
Physical fitness to work in an industrial environment and at heights if required.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems to assist in integrated maintenance tasks.
Effective communication skills for reporting technical issues and solutions.
