SENIOR FUNCTIONAL ANALYST @ THIRD EYE IT CONSULTING
Third Eye IT Consulting is seeking a vibrant, analytical, and innovative Senior Functional Analyst to join a fast-paced Agile Telecommunications environment based in Johannesburg. This role is designed for a professional who excels at bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that project deliverables meet the high standards of a dynamic Telco landscape.
The core of this position involves gathering and analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into actionable user stories, process flows, and functional specifications. You will be expected to collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders, developers, and testing teams to ensure seamless project execution. Beyond routine analysis, you will facilitate workshops and participate in Agile ceremonies, driving continuous improvement and innovation initiatives across the organization. This is a 6-month contract opportunity for a dedicated specialist looking to make a significant impact in the South African tech sector.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Business or Functional Analysis.
Proven experience working within an Agile methodology environment.
Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear functional specifications.
Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Octane, and Confluence.
Proficiency in visual modeling and design tools like Draw.io, Miro, or Canva.
Previous experience in the Telecommunications industry is highly preferred.
Ability to facilitate workshops and lead Agile ceremonies effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
Experience in creating detailed user stories and process flow diagrams.
